There is, of course, no substitute for seeing POST 'in the flesh' but the pictures below will give you an idea of what you can expect when you visit us.

wide angle of brasserie

The Brasserie at POST has attracted glowing comments in the press since it opened on 17  November 2006. It was previously a post office sorting room and the parquet flooring is original from 1938.  It was designed by international architects LOM to provide a luxurious light and airy open space, thanks to the room-length ceiling skylights.

walking in

As you walk into POST, the Brasserie looks seriously huge.  There is an element of trompe l'oeil as the end of the room features a stunning 20ft mirror.

The Dining Room upstairs at POST

Our upstairs restaurant, Tony Tobin at POST, has a very different feel. The restaurant was recently redesigned by Sophie Paterson of Sophie Paterson Interiors to create an intimate atmosphere with some striking features such as our staggered mirrors. Another feature to note is the chairs which were designed especially for POST.  They feature a swivelling seat to enable diners to simply turn and stand up rather than push their chair out from the table.  We have received offers for the design since opening!

The Coffeeshop cum deli at POST

POST's coffee shop and deli is open during the day for sandwiches, teas, coffees and small meals. A place to take time and watch the world go by. In the evening, you can enjoy a glass of something there by candlelight before or after your meal in the brasserie.

Tony is very proud
