Escape the heat with a leisurely lunch in our cool and airy brasserie

By popular demand we have extended the special offer on
our set menu in our upstairs restaurant. It offers an amazing three
courses for just £19.50 Tuesday - Friday, Lunch & Dinner.
Please note, the menu changes on a fortnightly basis.

On 31st May, The Times newspaper's The Knowledge supplement nominated POST as one of the UK's top 10 'season' eateries, in its coverage in advance of Derby Day. The article praised POST for "injecting buzz and sophistication into

The Stateside Music Event @ POST
Professional singers Pete & Kelli are renowned for
their amazing performances of greatest hits from The Blues Brothers,
Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Tony Bennett, Whitney Houston and Elvis. This
ultra-talented pair have worked with Leona Lewis, Katie Melua and
Westlife, appearing on Channel 5 and The Edinburgh Festival. In July,

The Rat Pack, back by popular demand!
You know the score! For everyone who couldn't get a
table at their first performance at POST, Shane, Alex and Pete will be
performing again in our brasserie. Between them, they have performed
The Rat Pack's greatest hits all over the world including on the
BBC, Channel 5, at the Edinburgh Festival and even at the Royal Albert
Hall. Be sure to book your table for a sensational of glamour and

POST occupies the
building that was previously the village's Post Office, originally built for
Banstead in 1934 - hence its name!
Our aim is to offer our guests great food and drinks in a relaxed, friendly
atmosphere throughout the day. We serve an All Day Menu in
our new and improved coffee shop 8.45
am - 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 9.00am - 12.00 on a Sunday.
Lunch and Dinner are available
in our Brasserie on the ground floor and in our award-winning upstairs
restaurant, Tony Tobin @ POST, where Tony - famous for his
appearances on the BBC's Ready Steady Cook for 12 years - is our
executive chef.
Our Brasserie offers simple food cooked well such as risotto,
steak, salads
and fish in an informal, family-friendly atmosphere. The Brasserie is
open seven days a week, serving food from 11.30- 3.00 for lunch and
then 6.30 till close for dinner
Tony Tobin @ POST offers delicious modern English/European
cuisine in luxurious
surroundings on our 1st floor. With both an á la carte menu and
a tasting menu
there are plenty of delicious options to tempt you! The restaurant has
built on the
reputation of Tony Tobin's 1st restaurant- Tony Tobin @ The Dining Room
in Reigate
and has already received two AA rosettes. Tony Tobin is there many
evenings when his Ready Steady Cook filming schedule for the BBC and
other cookery
demonstrations don't take him away from us! Please note the restaurant
is closed on Mondays, Saturday lunch time and Sunday evening.

POST was designed by international architects LOM to create a clean, modern look
which is light and airy while using many of the shapes of the original post office

Gourmet demonstration recipes

Lots of people who have attended the Gourmet
demonstration evenings that Tony Tobin holds in our first floor
restaurant at POST and The Dining Room in Reigate have asked if we could post up the recipes for some
of the meals that Tony creates. Now, he's created his own gourmet recipe pages that you
can access HERE. He will aim to get recipes up a few
days after each Gourment evening. We hope you enjoy trying them out yourself at home.
